Steven A. Piazza, President of Senior Management Advisors, has 25+ years of experience in every aspect of the assisted living business.  Steven’s primary emphasis is on strategic planning, including development and implementation of marketing and operations programs to drive census.

 

John J. Moschner, Director of Operations, has 25+ years of hands-on Assisted Living experience.  John’s expertise lies in licensing, compliance and operational matters.  He oversees the day-to-day operations of the facilities and works with facility management teams to ensure quality of care and financial success of the individual communities.

 

Timothy R, Barnes, Finance Director, is a Certified Public Accountant with 25+ years of experience in financial operations for both public and private companies. Tim specializes in maximizing operating efficiencies through implementation of technology.

 

Alex Lopez, Director of Business Development, focuses on establishing strong relationships in the senior living industry that promote growth and enhance revenue for the company and its business partners. With over 17 years of operational and sales management experience including a background in turning around troubled facilities, Alex specializes in recognizing potential upside in acquisitions and identifying profitable business opportunities.

 

Karen Favo Walsh, Advertising Manager, has 28 years of advertising and publishing experience. Her expertise includes copywriting and graphic design. Karen performs cost analysis and strategic planning for all advertising purchases. She manages content and placement for consistent branding.

 

Bonnie Williamson, Operations Manager, has over 5 years experience in the assisted living industry. She is primarily responsible for supporting the Director of Operations and communities with all aspects of the facility operations.  This includes licensing, operational and compliance audits, customer service matters, and distribution and implementation of policies and procedures.

 

Scott LaBarbera, Project Manager, coordinates and supervises renovation construction to meet client deadlines. He works directly with contractors to guarantee all projects meet our strict quality standards. Scott’s 12+ years of construction experience, and his reputation for quality work, translate into safety, beauty and comfort in all our renovation projects.

 

Mark H. Ward, Project Manager. Mark's dedication to quality construction for commercial, single and multi-family buildings spans 40 years. He manages projects for new construction, as well as interior and exterior refurbishing for existing properties. He coordinates site work engineering for new and existing utility systems. Mark secures and evaluates contractor bids. His extensive experience gives him the knowledge and expertise to insure quality workmanship and safety, from start to finish.

 

Michael Schmidt, Consulting MIS Director, has 25+ years experience in the IT industry.  He holds and maintains certifications in present technologies including MCSE/MCSA in Microsoft server and messaging technologies.  Mike provides engineering and direction on best practice assisted living application delivery with an emphasis on cost efficiency.  He manages, as well as, supports the corporate and community systems, networks and telecommunications.

 

Lisa Sockol, Design Consultant, specializes in design evaluation and cost analysis for new and existing assisted living communities. She has over 7 years of professional experience in residential and commercial property design consultation.
